How do you check that ADAS sensors were actually recalibrated after a repair?
Had a bumper replaced recently and now I am not sure whether the parking sensors and blind spot monitor were touched at all. Nothing on the invoice mentions calibration. How do you usually confirm this was done properly and what should I ask the shop before paying?

From what I have seen, most people only notice something is off weeks later when the blind spot alert stays quiet or the parking sensors start beeping at nothing. After bumper, windshield or panel work, the cameras and radar units usually need recalibration, otherwise the readings drift from factory spec even if the hardware itself is fine. I would ask the shop directly whether they perform sensor recalibration in house and which systems they cover, since radar, lidar and camera based setups are not all handled the same way.
