PA AHEC receives a variety of grant funds to develop and maintain our programming. The following disclosures list the details of the grant funds that PA AHEC currently holds through the Pennsylvania State University Hershey Medical Center.

Grant Disclosures:

Human Resource and Services Administration Area Health Education Center Grant:

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) provided financial support for programs such as AHEC Scholars, Pathway, CHW training, clinical experiences, and rural rotations. The award provided 100% of total costs and totals $XX for the current program year. The contents are those of the author. They may not reflect the policies of HRSA, HHS, or the U.S. Government.

Human Resource and Services Administration Community Health Worker Training Program:

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) provided financial support for programs such as the CHW Continuing Education series in partnership with Project ECHO, CHW Supervisor Training Series, PA AHEC CHW Registered Apprenticeship Program, and supports additional CHW trainees in field placement and upskilling positions. The award provided 100% of total costs and totals $XX for the current program year. The contents are those of the author. They may not reflect the policies of HRSA, HHS, or the U.S. Government.

Pennsylvania Department of Health State Baseline Funding:

PA AHEC provides programs that are funded, in part, under a Grant with the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Basic data for use in this study were supplied by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The department takes no part in and is in no way responsible for any analyses, interpretations, or conclusions.

United State Department of Labor WORC Round 6 Grant:

The total cost of the Pathways Supporting Rural Apprenticeships program is $1,500,000. 100% is funded through a U.S. Department of Labor – Employment and Training Administration grant.
