As we celebrate National Rural Health Day and Pennsylvania Rural Health Week, we congratulate Amanda Vaglia, DO, Inaugural Program Director, Family Medicine Residency Program, Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.
Dr. Vaglia noted in her feature for the Community Stars program sponsored by the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health that she has been inspired by many mentors and her love of teaching “to give back to the next generation of medical learners.”
Dr. Vaglia has been a long-time clinical preceptor for the Southcentral PA AHEC Center and was nominated as one of the nation’s Community Stars by the Pennsylvania Office of Rural Health.
