Registration is open for Pennsylvania’s First Annual Community Health Worker Conference, Sept. 28-30, at the Wyndham Garden-State College in Boalsburg, PA.
The conference will celebrate the passion, resiliency, and dedication of Pennsylvania’s community health workers and the “upstream” work they do to address the health and social needs of our most vulnerable populations.
The conference will feature motivational and engaging keynote speakers as well as sessions to enhance the professional skill set of community health workers, networking opportunities, and an optional poverty simulation.
Registration is limited to the first 150 participants. The $250 full conference registration fee includes lunches, networking dinner, t-shirt, bag, and materials, plus the poverty simulation. Other registration as well as exhibitor/sponsorship packages are available. The conference planning committee will be applying for continuing education credits.
The conference was planned and is being co-sponsored by the Eastcentral Pennsylvania AHEC, Northcentral Pennsylvania AHEC, and Temple University Harrisburg Campus.
